Özet

In Irfan Horozovic's novel and within the world of a trivial everyday life, the actors - Kjazim Mehanija, kadija (judge) of Imotski, Muradif Šejto, Narcis are born. These flee with all their might from boundaries of imposed identity, finding paths grown in the clash of powers from which the irrational world is recognized and thrived. That „state“ in Irfan Horozovic's literary workshop creates hermeticism in a circle of characters that are striving to be understood. In novels „Kadija of Imotski“, „Kalfa“, „Map of Time“, or „Rea“, we discover the problematic-irrational spheres of human ego, which is hidden only if we drop out of sight the absurd circumstances in which we are often thrown. Horozovic's novelistic actors defy to the reality in an avan-garde way and find their salvation in fantastic, imatinative, luminous. Heroes of the prose claim („I want to be explained everything or nothing“), they explicitly request certain coherence of apocaliptical self-recognition.
