A City on the Shores of the Sea of Marmara in the Novel of Abdurezak Hivzi Bjelevac

Özet

The aim of this paper is to show how the image of Istanbul is shaped in the novels Pod drugim suncem and Minka by Abdurezak Hivzi Bjelevac. Istanbul is a city in which the plot of these novels is almost completely or partially located, but it is also a space that has symbolic meanings and contributes to the characterization of the characters.
