On Different Types of Questions in English

This paper presents an overview of different types of questions, as well as various functions that questions may perform in communication. The paper analyzes classifications of questions based on different criteria, including the set of possible answers and the form of questions, as well as varied functions of questions and the speakers’ intentions in a particular context.
