Abstract
This paper gives the conclusion that the novel Karabeg written by Nedžad Ibrišimović contains the most significant intermedial value of the oral literature recipient, representing it as its own ideal reader. That connection between the novel Karabeg and the oral literature opens one completely new type of oral-written relations because of exceeding the motif, theme-plot and structure level of intertextuality, and it remains pure intermedial level.
