Abstract

Perception of the importance of ethical standards, apparently arbitrary to all public interests, is greatly subjected to the rules of sensationalism, placement and trading of information, which mainly damages the quality of information in BiH society. From regulatory stance in lieu of practicing journalism, there is a quite adequate framework that guides several daily newspaper, weeklies, magazines etc. With regards to the history and political reality in BiH, rise of aculturality, divisiveness of human conscience and fragmentation of the overall society, quality of communication in BiH is, generally speaking, reflection of the society itself - headless, infatuated by overabundant ideologies, rotten at its bourn, but also its very core. From the Press Code of BiH, its foundational provisions, one of its basic premises that are instituted by this code is a fact that its meant to serve as a basis of a self-regulating system that would be considered morally obligatory for journalists, editors, owners, newspaper publishers etc.
