Abstract

This paper explains the phenomenon of the influence of TV program onto public opinion, primarily from a perspective of modern American TV humor. Its relevance and referentiality are recognized as an important aspect of the life of an American person, who cannot imagine comunication without quoting or referring to TV. Also, it treated the genre discourse and its value in relation to other specific TV discourses.
